Interior studs on the upper floor were built by volunteers as were the window inserts. Stockham began interior work until switching to the drainage issue because of the coming bad weather.

Arches were cut in the walls of the Northeast display room in order to open up the building for air flow and to ease the traffic flow. (L) Links the NE and SE rooms while (R) links the NE room and the reception area and gift shop. The ducts at the ceiling lines is the work of Wells HVAC of Maquoketa.
