(L) The new Dynamic Duo, Lee Karabin, Maquoketa, and Bob Beckley, Bellevue-La Motte area. Bob thought HE was the workaholic El Supremo - and then Lee Karabin, Master Gardeners, came around. The smoke flew as dirt was hauled, landscape formed, and planting areas created. Mutual respect grew. Not much talk needed. They knew what to do and did it like a practiced drill team. Paul Bunyan had nothing on these guys. What a team!

(L) And then Lee assures that every single brick is perfectly set. Every one for over 150 feet. In background is Bob getting yet another load of dirt to sculpt the planting area. When Bob was absent Lee got her own dirt. By the way, folks, this was a sweltering period in July - no let up in heat or humidity. The stamina of these two was amazing.
