Some Electronic Wizardry
Rack1
Cables

”The Rack” is the hub of the flexible system that handles phone, FAX, computer network, internet and other electronic gadgetry that is yet to come. A wireless internet capability is a part of that system so that visitors may use their laptops for research and access the internet from the building. Mitchell Tech’s, LDR Computers’, & John Porter’s wizardry provides the flexible use of ethernet cables as phone or network lines depending on need. Of course it all

takes some electronic punchdown blocks, routers, switches, power cleaning, and backup equipment not to mention miles of cable. Most of that has been installed. Mediacom and Qwest provid the commercial utilities that this system distributes to the building. Above are two pictures of the rack and it’s trousseau of ethernet cables of various types. When completed the rack will be filled and the cables organized. But it is like watching sausage being made.
